Hymnes au langage pictural, le titre de l’exposition évoque la relation entre la beauté et le cahos.
Pictures of nothing est une célébration de ce que cherche à accomplir la peinture en Occident: ne rien reconnaître, travailler avec l'innommé. Une abstraction qui pousse plus loin, qui reste insaisissable, qui ne se rabat pas sur la métaphore. Une image qui respire par elle-même, sans références.

The expression was given to landscapes of Turner: pictures of nothing, and very alike.
Hymns to the pictorial language, the title of the exhibition refers to the relationship between beauty and chaos.
Pictures of nothing is a celebration of what the painting seeks to accomplish in the West: not to recognize anything, to work with the unnamed. An abstraction that grows further, that remains elusive, which does not fold on the metaphor. An image that breathes itself without references.
